(ein anderer regular:) You are a clueless twit. A large part of the terrace crowds in soccer are not there for the game. In some ways, they're more like the carpark crowd at Twickenham - there for the event. The general participation you think is so good includes throwing things on the field, screaming racial abuse at anybody you don't like, spitting at players and officials, throwing coins at players, rioting, invading the pitch, arranged fights with other gangs and more mindless numbskullery than you'd find in a Waratahs board meeting. Of course, this is because soccer is so ditch water dull that you've got to get SOMETHING for your money - a scoreless draw is not exactly an exciting day out, is it? If that's what you think rugby "needs" might I politely suggest you fuck off. When I go to a game, I want to see the game, not the crowd. Rugby is exciting enough without the sideshow distractions.

morgen geht es weiter bei der wm in spanien. im finale am samstag treffen neuseeland und england aufeinander, ein bisschen unverdient finde ich, denn mit haette es weit besser gefallen, wenn die grossartigen franzoesinnen es bis ins endspiel geschafft haetten. naja, egal, hauptsache die amis schaffen es nicht uebr den 8. platz hinaus(liebe spanierinnen, strengt euch an). italien sollte kasachstan ohne probleme kicken koennen und unseren liebreizenden damen sollte ebendies auch gegen die geliebten hollaenderinnen gelingen(ein sieg sollte doch drin sein...). <hier sollte eigentlich ein bild sein, aber der upload klappt grad nich...> ich bin jedenfalls ehr gespannt, kann aber leider am samstag das finale nicht verfolgen, da ich dann auf unserem beach-turnier spielen muss.. habe jetzt schon muskelkater..
