umph. canada got a fair thrashing by the black ferns. hope this doesn't keep the maples from being all exited bout the world cup. interesting: the result in the england vs usa match. (this is me writing in english because this event might draw a more international crowd, thank you for not laughing!)

i could not watch it live (via the internet, for a couple of quids, as you might have already noticed) as i was watching an amazing band tonight and when i got home, everything was over... fortunately the next pool games are on monday, so i can spend my weekend the way props are supposed to have fun: dressing up with hair and makeup and highheels and all the nice and completely useless things invented to make women act like they were a bit retarded, drinking as much free beer as your average trained alcoholic and dancing like lightning has struck me. this is a movie premiere we are invited to attend, but as its a movie about a hardcore band which is now in the transportation business, i do not feel ashamed to behave as described above.

The rugby Garson girls were back from training in the park when they entered their locker rooms there was a thief going through their bags who quickly tried to make an escape. Flight or fright he couln't get away for several of the girls had rugby tackled the thief to the ground and then promtly SAT ON HIM so he couldn't move.

Tasha, their rugby fly half said: "He didn't know what to expect when he saw us girls standing there angrily, we were sweaty and covered in mud. The first thing the bugger tried to do was run out the door and that was his big mistake. Before he knew what hit him we were sat on him about five of us. Being that none of us had done anything like this before we were amazed how easy it was just to keep him there while we waited for the police.
